Dewey Beach Music Conference
Make sure you check out the Dewey Beach Music Conference in 2007. It's a great local event that supports many of the musicians in this film.

INTRODUCING "JUST THE TIP"
ONE NIGHT IN DEWEY
The Crew: Production Manager
Our crew was made of dedicated professionals. Just another fine example.
LOVE/HATE...
The interesting part of making a movie is the atachment that you get with the project. The attachment to the location, people and the crew. The summer of 2006 is long gone, however, there isn't a week that goes by without a call, email or text from a crew member or dewey veteran describing their longing to go back...
The crew found that Dewey is an interesting beast. It's almost a love hate kind of thing (lol) We spent the summer counting the minutes to head down and start filming. By mid-Sunday we all just wanted to go home... But, by the time we pulled into the driveway back home (2 hours later) we missed it already...
I think everyone that has been to Dewey will be able to relate.
IN THE EDITING ROOM
Dewey Beach the Movie is heavy in post-production and we are spending countless hours in the editing room. Due to the long hours reviewing over 70 hours of footage, edits and music scoring, we've moved the project to a home studio to make it a bit more convienent during the late nights.
The dvd extras will have a "behind the scenes" look into the editing process... But until then, get an inside look at the place where it all comes togther.
The main edit station.
Digital audio control surface. It controls all audio in the computer... No audio actually travels through the board. Gene Simmons oversees all mixing (lurking in the background)
Every editor needs a muse.
A few of the guitars that will assist in scoring the movie. Fender Strat (Special Edition Koa), Gibson Les Paul Standard, Musicman EVH.
